    The savings account that earns you interest

    The Select Account is a personal savings account in both dollars and euros that grows your money because it earns competitive interest rates and is quickly and safely managed online, through BCB Online.

    Features and Benefits:

    • Easily and efficiently open your account in dollars or euros.
    • Gain access to Credit Cards, Loans, Investment Portfolio, International Financial Operations, and other products end services from Bancaribe Curaçao Bank.
    • No service fee on balances of USD 25.000 / EUR 25.000 or more.
    • Transfer your funds with no amount limits:
      • Incoming: internal transfers from other accounts at the same bank or external from other financial institutions.
      • Outgoing: internal transfers to other accounts at the same bank or external to other financial institutions.
      • The first four transactions per month are free.
    • Get detailed information on your transactions in your monthly electronic account statement or by login in at BCB Online.

    Required Documents:

    It’s easy for your dollars or euros to start enjoying the competitive interest rates that the Select account offers. It all begins by filling out and completing the Personal Account Opening Kit available here.

    In addition, the following documents must be included in your application:

    • Copy of current passport of each signatory in the account, valid for six (6) months or more. (1)
    • Bank Reference letter addressed to Bancaribe Curaçao Bank N.V., no more than 30 days after it was issued. (two)
    • Copy of service payment receipt, RIF, or proof of residence.
    • IRS Form W-8BEN or W-9 (one per signatory). (3)
    • Personal Balance (if applicable) (4)

    (1) In case you have an expired passport, we require a detailed explanation indicating the commitment with the bank to send a valid copy as soon as it is available and to add a copy of your valid identity card. If naturalized, provide a copy of the gazette.
    (2). The document must be in the account holder’s or first signatory’s name.
    (3) If the signatory is a resident or taxpayer in the United States, they must complete the IRS W-9 form; otherwise, fill out the IRS W-8BEN form.
    (4) Personal Balance certified by a certified public accountant if the transaction profile report displayed in the “Purpose of the account” section is greater than USD 10,000 (Form identified as F-NECSU017 in the personal account kit at the bottom of the page).
